Sure. Those mics are Sennheiser MKH50's. They are hypercardioid mics with superior rich, full sound and reach for dialog recording. They are my personal favorites for interior recording. Also important are the mic suspensions that are being used. These are the Cinela Osix mounts, which I have found to be the finest microphone suspension systems ever developed for interior boom pole use.
We use Rycote Microphone systems for all our exterior microphones. The primary mic that I prefer outside is the Sanken CS3e, but I have been known to use a Sennheiser MKH50 on occasion. I also have Rycote systems for my MKH50's and for my Stereo Rig which is a Sanken CSS5.

Can you explain a little bit about the mic's on the boom poles, and why you chose those?

Thanks again Phillip!
What is your boom and mount recommendation for exteriors?
