Each of the little blue boxes has an ear piece that receives the signal from the transmitter that is in the center of the small table. The little white pieces that are stuck to the antenna are strips of topstick, or toupe tape. We wrap the double sided tape around the earwigs so they don't fall out of the ear when the actor is dancing. This is usually not needed of they are just walking about. This was not the case for this scene.
